Nimble Elearning has helped many businesses find their training haven – especially their customers Haven Claims. Up until a year ago, as a home and motor insurer, they delivered all their staff training face-to-face in classrooms. However, since adopting Nimble, they’ve been astonished by the massive Return on Investment it’s brought them.

Their story is going to feature in a seminar at the Call & Contact Centre Expo at London ExCeL, 27-28 March.

Lenore Brown will lead the seminar. In her role as Training and Audit Controller for Haven Claims, she’s become a passionate advocate of Nimble in the last year. She’s discovered the difference it’s made to her job – and the company as a whole. At the top of their list of benefits is the vast number of training hours that have been saved, and it took Lenore just 8 months to shift the company’s training culture from classroom-based to online. That’s right – just 8 months. It’s a factor both management and the workforce agree has made life easier.

Lenore admits to not being an instructional designer, but with over thirty years’ experience in the Insurance industry, she’s written technical competency frameworks, company induction procedures and technical training. She’s even delivered successful work experience programmes for school and college leavers.

She knew the content she wanted learners to gain from their experiences, so turning it into elearning was a new experience. Lenore has currently written over 35 courses. She is the first to say how quickly and easy it was. Enjoyable too.

Her verdict on Nimble? “Haven is using elearning now as more than just a training tool. The overall success of using Nimble has opened up so many uses we had not really thought of before. It’s enabled us to build upwards and outwards and springboard onto new ways to use Nimble, other than for technical and compliance training.

It’s not surprising that at the Nimble Community Day in September last year, Lenore was awarded ‘2018 Elearning Professional of the Year’. Her commendation read: ‘An elearning inspiration and a credit to Haven Claims, with no previous elearning experience, Lenore has not only built numerous elearning courses from scratch on Nimble but embedded elearning across the business and made it a significant part of the organisation’s strategy.’
