Translation Services for the Engineering and Construction Industry

Like other industries, many of today’s highly-successful engineering and construction companies are also large, multi-national businesses, working on technically complex projects. That means, that they need to know that their documentation says the same thing no matter which language it is written in.

APT has worked with the engineering and construction industry for more than 30 years. For one of our largest clients we have translated more than 10 million words into 40 language combinations and continue to build on that every week. We have worked on everything from tender responses to geological reports, training and contractual materials and presentations on some of the world’s most outstanding landmarks. Recent projects include TCO Tengiz, Hinkley Point C and Borwin offshore wind project, which is a joint venture between Siemens and Petrofac supporting Tennet.

Winning major projects in the construction industry requires great attention to detail. And we work with a number of clients on long-term, technically complex projects.

Many of our clients are also subcontractors to other large industries, such as energy and transport. As well as being able to communicate effectively across their own regionally dispersed teams, their documentation requires cross-industry clarity.

All of our translators are selected for their technical skills and have an original working background in engineering and construction companies, as well as degree-level qualifications in translation.

We can also translate materials into more than 120 languages, from English and back again.
