Translation for the Public Sector

With an abundance of documents requiring translation for the public sector, it is estimated that the British government spends in excess of £100m per annum on translation services, and this figure is set to increase year on year as the migrant population in the UK increases.

Of course it is impossible to forecast translation requirements accurately, although it is clear that as the global population becomes more mobile, language requirements will grow, particularly within the public sector.

Working with numerous central and regional government departments, we understand the requirements and processes which are fundamental for supplying translation services.

Your translation provider must, as a minimum, support not only European and Far Eastern languages, but be extremely competent in South Asian, Eastern European and African languages. Within the public sector, demand for these language groups is particularly high.

We are continually working with all the languages required in the public sector, and fully support formatting and desktop services for these languages. Our teams of translators work in over 140 languages.
