The APT community utilises remote network access. Our IT specialists have custom-built a Linux Smart Server with a Virtual Private Network (VPN) which monitors all network traffic and allows only restricted and encrypted password-level entry.

Our backup policy is comprehensive, carried out on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, involving both onsite and offsite data storage. As well as data backup, regular archiving on CD and DVD media is part of our Quality Assurance.
