APT embarks on building a CRM suited directly for its business
Part of its ambitious plans for 2008, APT is undertaking the responsibility of internally designing and creating its own CRM for its supply chain, its project, sales and finance teams, as well as its clients.
“APT:SHARE” will emerge as the single system uniquely benefiting the translation, localisation and project management process at APT, with rollout expecting to be January 2008.
APT’s Enterprise Architecture Project & IT Lead, Michael Quintana, explains “The idea of a bespoke software based Enterprise Architecture solution for our business presented a major headache for outsource companies that have had sight of our detailed specification. The build has now been fully mapped, development is in progress, and I expect initial testing to be during the latter half of November”.
Michael continues “As the company grows, the system will deliver exactly what we need at APT – secure intranet access to all elements of the business, enabling a dynamic customer related environment for the projects, sales and finance teams. During 2008 I want to ensure APT:SHARE continues to grow as our Enterprise Architecture solution, enabling further interactive services for our environment.”
Darren Pigott, Sales & Marketing Director at APT, comments “We have never been more committed to moving the business forward at APT – all facets of the CRM blueprint have been in the making since early June, with input from individuals representing all areas of the business. It is an extremely exciting time to be at APT and certainly a move that will benefit our people and clients into 2008 and beyond”.
Further details of APT:SHARE will be released nearer to launch, although Charles Jamieson, Managing Director at APT, concluded “The enthusiasm shown towards the CRM development by our team at APT has been wonderful. The benefits that APT:SHARE will bring are in abundance, but the fact that we are developing the CRM internally demonstrates our depth in resource and I am confident that we will achieve the launch in January 2008”.
