APT Ltd, Part of the Winning Team

Prime Minister of Great Britain, Tony Blair, called the win "a momentous day" for Britain.

On 6th July 2005, London was announced as the host city for the 2012 Olympics. Paris had been the favourite throughout the campaign but London's hopes were raised after an impressive presentation by Lord Coe, the bid chairman.

An enormous amount of work went into all aspects of the bid, and the documentation was no exception. Part of the submission process was for all bids to be submitted to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in both English and French.
