The Social Inclusion Round Table
Event in Glasgow

Already working with 4 central government departments, we were delighted to have the opportunity to assist the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) with its literature design and translation requirements for the European Social Inclusion Round Table conference.

With the first Social Inclusion Round Table event being held in Denmark in 2002, the  Glasgow event was the fourth of its kind, and was intended to allow representatives of anti-poverty groups from all over the EU to come together for a wide ranging discussion on social exclusion.

Attended by the then British Home Secretary, David Blunkett, this was one of a number of events taking place under the UK’s presidency of the EU.

APT was awarded the contract for the design and localisation of material for the conference which was a flagship event highlighting the UK’s presidency of the EU.
